180 Clip

Dear sisters, I pray you are encouraged by this video clip. The beginning presents a shocking view of our culture in thought, word and action, and is not for the feint-hearted. Evangelist Ray Comfort is used mightily to reach this rebellious generation with the biblical Gospel of Christ... the Lord is triumphing even in the greatest darkness and horror. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1: 16). Praise the Lord!

Dearest Maddy,
Greetings in the Name of our Jesus! What a video! The Holy Spirit's conviction is so visible... satans wiles can be easily cast down with truth.

Gracious I was amazed at the sin in plain view, at the beginning, especially...

May the Lord use us to speak out for Him... not supporting or denouncing abortion as our aim... but supporting our Lord and Master, Christ Jesus, Who is All above everything!

Thank you for sharing this dear sister. The Lord is working... even where He is not known.
Who keeps the world moving? Who protects the people, and loves them while yet in sin, so much that He died for them?

Oh Jesus is so Wonderful. Praise His Holy Name!

With love, your true sister and friend,
Carra

Dear Maddy,
Thank you so much for sharing this video. As Carra said, it was quite shocking to see sin in such boldness and plain viewing without shame. I was also so shocked about the ignorance of this generation on the basics of history. May God have mercy! It should give godly determination and purpose to any Christian historian to tell the truth and teach it to this generation....

It was encouraging though to see those who were finally touched and began to really think seriously of their ways. God's grace is at work in the midst of this utter darkness. May God have mercy upon this generation.

May the Lord give us boldness to speak the truth in love and witness with our lives as well as our lips the glories of our Risen Saviour and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ.

As I was watching it, I thought that if it were not for God's love and grace, I may very well have been as lost in darkness as these young people. Amazing Grace that saved a wretch like me! Blessed be His Name.

Jesus is Wonderful!

love in Him,
Sarah

P.S.: I'm looking forward to you seeing again, God willing, sometime next week (I think?).

Dear Maddy,
What a gripping documentary! As Carra and Sarah said it is truly shocking and said the utter darkness, ignorance and sin these people are in. What I found amazing was how when they were confronted with the truth, they floundered and had nothing with which to cling to! And as Sarah said, were it not for Christ's mercy and grace... we may have indeed ended up like them, in utter hellish darkness!

I found it quite amazing how a lot of those young people were against what Hitler did and said they wouldn't "run over the truck" but thought it was okay when it came to abortion.

But praise the Lord, that He is convicting people, and bringing them to Him. May we always look to Him as our Rock... He is our Salvation! I love the verse you quoted, may we indeed not be ashamed if the gospel of Christ!

Lots of love in Him and looking forward to seeing you soon Lord willing!

Dearest Carra,

Greetings to you also through the Lord Jesus! Yes, it was so very encouraging to see the conviction of the Holy Spirit coming over the the people's faces. How true it is that satan's wiles are easily overcome by the Truth of the Gospel... the Truth which sets us free from the bondage of sin and death!

That sin was so blatently flaunted at the beginning... it was shocking, and at first I wondered "where could this be heading?". But the undeniable conviction that came with the Truth was so honouring to the Lord! He is mighty to save!

Oh may the Lord use us to speak out for Him and... yes, that is very true - not because we are campaigning for abortion, but for the Lord God! May His Name be praised.

It is beautiful, and wonderful, to contemplate how the Lord is working mightily in the darkest of places. Who can plumb the depths of His infinite love and grace? May our hearts be lifted up in praise and adoration of our great and mighty Redeemer, Saviour and Friend!

Thank you for commenting, dear sister. I'm praying for you and your precious family.

Much love,

Maddy

Dear Sarah,

Thank you also for being prepared to watch this movie, and to share about it! I agree that the shameless sinning was hard... painful... to see. How great is the mercy of the Lord... He is infinitely longsuffering with all His people who, like the Israelites, are stiff-necked, rebellious, and hard of heart. We are all in this position - we are all so lost in the blackness of sin - without the amazing grace of God. Praise our mighty Redeemer, Jesus. Only by His grace are we saved... only by His resurrected Life and righteousness can we walk forward.

I really valued what you said, that we also would be lost in utter darkness if it wasn't for the amazing grace of the Lord. May we see our great need for Him continually, and press into Jesus, our Light and our Salvation. He is our only Hope... the solid Rock, which cannot be shaken.

And it was beautiful to see how He is calling these people also, yes, how His grace is at work in the midst of the blackest of darkness and hopeless.

Yes, it was amazing seeing how they were touched, and began to consider their sin with earnestness! The Lord be praised... great is His Name.

Oh yes, may He fill us with boldness in proclaiming and living His Truth... may His Light come through us.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you too, Sarah! That time will be very precious :). May you be blessed in the Lord always. I loved to hear from you.

Love from your sister in Him,

Maddy

Dear Joy,

This certainly was a gripping documentary, and not an easy one to watch, especially at the start. Yes, it was sad and also shocking to see the utter darkness, confusion, and hopelessness of the Lord... it was written in the faces and thoughts of the people.

Oh, wasn't it amazing seeing how when they heard the truth, they couldn't refute it, and floundered as you said! This is a great victory of the Lord... a wonderful testimony of His power and might, and that the Truth of the Gospel will never be shaken. It is perfect and complete, already written and eternal. The Lord be praised!

It is a sobering yet beautiful truth that we would be in utter hellish darkness... if it were not for the incredible, infite love and grace of Jesus. And it is so, so encouraging to see how He is working... how the Holy Spirit can convict and melt even the hardest heart of stone.

Yes, the arguments and standpoints of the people were quite amazing, weren't they... without the clarity of conviction, and the sense of truth. How many could truly answer yes to the question, "Do you value life"? Without grounding in the Word of God, our minds run in tangled webs of confusion and deception... the arguments of our minds just don't add up. But when we start to see the amazing, convicting, beautiful Word of God, a veil is lifted - and a picture of the Lord's truth becomes evident, so clear and perfect, through and through!

I'm really looking forward to seeing you soon too, dear sister! That will be lovely.

Much love,

Maddy

Sarah, I really agreed and appreciated your comment on the history side of things - and yet I forgot to respond to it! Yes, I was truly amazed by the ignorance with regards to Hitler - because like you said, this is a basic thing, and his agenda was one of the most major things in modern history! This clip shows how a knowledge of history is very important on seeing the moral, life-and-death issues of our own time... if we live purely in the moment, and only know what we are seeing in the present... there is no wisdom, and can be no understanding. It certainly would motivate a Christian historian to a godly purpose of teaching this generation!

Love,

Maddy
